Intro to Computers is a class designed for students to learn the basic skills necessary to operate a computer. With these basic skills, students will learn and use a variety of computer applications such as Word (word processing), Excel (spreadsheets), and PowerPoint (presentation graphics). In addition, students will learn how to keyboard by touch. This is a one semester course and upon successful completion the student will earn 5 credits. No prerequisites are required. This is an excellent class for all students. Computers are becoming more and more prevalent in education and business today, and it is imperative that students learn to use these resources properly.
